Joe Cross shares his personal triumphs on the Circuit of Success.
On this episode of Circuit of Success, Brett Gilliland welcomes Australian entrepreneur, author, filmmaker, and wellness advocate, Joe Cross.
You might know Joe Cross from the movie, Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead, which documented his personal journey to regain his health. When he made the film, he literally was fat, sick and nearly dead. He was 100 pounds overweight, loaded up on steroids and suffering from a debilitating autoimmune disease. He was at the end of his rope and the end of his hope. In the mirror, he saw a 310lb man whose gut was bigger than a beach ball and a path laid out before him which wouldn’t end well.
With doctors and conventional medicines unable to help him long-term, he knew he had to drastically change his lifestyle so he turned to the only option left: The body’s natural ability to heal itself. He traded in his typical junk food diet and decided to hit the road with a juicer and generator in tow, vowing only to drink fresh fruit and vegetable juices for the next 60 days. Across 3,000 miles he had one goal in mind: Dump the pills and achieve a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
By juicing fruits and vegetables, he successfully lost the weight and got himself off all prescription drugs and truly rebooted his life. He also developed a passion and appreciation for the delicious tastes and healing properties of the produce he was consuming.
Now he is free of his autoimmune disease, he lives a happy and balanced life at a healthy weight and he could never imagine returning to his old ways again.
Hear Joe’s habits and rituals not only for his health but for his life on this episode of Circuit of Success!
